The lifeboat made contact with the casualty vessel by radio, and using radar and navigational aids, was able to quickly locate the vessel. The boat was taken in tow, and brought back to Seahouses where it was safely moored up. The boat crew were from Eyemouth and were able to contact friends to come to Seahouses to collect them. The Lifeboat could not be recovered till after 9pm that night, due to the low tide.
