At 13:11hr on Saturday 22nd February 2020, Seahouses Inshore Lifeboat was requested to launch to assist Howick and Seahouses Coastguard Rescue Teams at Beadnell Bay. A female walker had sustained a suspected fracture to her ankle and lower leg, south of the Long Nanny, and extraction by sea was considered to be the most appropriate option.

Young Aubrey’s sponsored swim raises £300 for the RNLI

Eleven year old Aubrey Green, from Wilmington, has recently raised £300 for the RNLI following a successful 5k sponsored swim that he completed for the lifesaving charity in January.
AMBULANCE CALL TO HOLY ISLAND, CAUSEWAY CLOSED BY TIDE.
At 20:10hr on Friday 14th Feb 2020, Seahouses All Weather Lifeboat was requested to launch to convey an ambulance crew to an emergency on Holy Island. The Causeway was closed by the tide.
