The Association of Air Ambulances (AAA) National Conference takes place on Monday 18th November 2019 at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel, London. Once again, the three colleges of charity, operational and clinical speakers will come together, to talk on contemporary topics within the air ambulance and ambulance service sectors. This year, the theme focusses on the important topic of ‘Collaboration’ and there is a fantastic line up of speakers taking to the stage.

Exmouth Lifeboat assists in two rescues

This afternoon, Sunday 20 October 2019, the volunteer crew of Exmouth RNLI launched to assist in two separate rescues in the area.
FISHING VESSEL SUFFERS STEERING FAILURE 16 MILES EAST OF FARNE ISLANDS
At 2:58pm on Saturday 19th October 2019, UK Coastguard requested the launch of Seahouses All Weather Lifeboat, to go to the assistance of a 16.7m fishing vessel from Fraserburgh with 4 crew, which had suffered steering failure 16 miles east of the Farne Islands. Sea conditions were rough and deteriorating, with the wind speed also increasing.

FIVE PERSONS CUT OFF BY THE TIDE AT BUDLE BAY
At 1:37pm on Monday 14th October 2019, UK Coastguard requested the launch of Seahouses Inshore Lifeboat following a report to two adults and three children cut off by the tide at Budle Bay, north of Bamburgh. They were waist deep in water, with the tide rising.
WIND SURFER IN DIFFICULTY AT BUDLE BAY
At 1:51pm on Friday 11th October 2019, UK Coastguard requested the launch of Seahouses Inshore Lifeboat following multiple reports of a wind surfer in difficulty near a sand bank at Budle Bay, north of Bamburgh.
MOTORCYCLIST ACCIDENT ON HOLY ISLAND CAUSEWAY IN RISING TIDE
At 1:07pm on Thursday 10th October 2019, UK Coastguard requested the launch of Seahouses Inshore Lifeboat to the report of a motorcyclist who had come off his motor cycle on Holy Island Causeway. He was surrounded by the rising tide.
