Following a discussion with the full time Cox/Mech it was decided that both the ILB and the ALB would be launched. Both boats made best safe speed to the casualty vessel and assessed the  situation. The casualty vessel was listing to starboard. The vessel has 3 persons on board who remained with there craft. Both lifeboats remained with the casualty to await the rising tide and to ensure that it was not taking on water. The ALB salvage pump was placed on board the casualty vessel in case it was needed. Once the casualty vessel re floated it was escorted to a mooring in the harbour, and both lifeboats were released to return to station.
