Today marks the 17th anniversary of the Sept. 11 tragedy in the United States. Our nation will be forever indebted to the men and women who were among the first emergency responders who came to the aid of the thousands of people who were victims of this horrific act of terrorism.
On Thursday, Sept. 13, the U.S. Postal Service will issue a Forever stamp honoring firefighters, emergency medical professionals and law enforcement officers who serve our communities across the nation. The Honoring First Responders Forever stamp will be dedicated at the Aerial Fire Depot and Smokejumper Center in Missoula, MT.
