The Inshore Lifeboat was taken to the Causeway by road, due to the choppy sea conditions, and launched there. The four persons were assessed by the Lifeboat crew, and brought ashore on the mainland side, where they were handed into the care of local Coastguard Officers. No medical assistance was required. The Inshore Lifeboat was then recovered and returned to station.

Safe crossing times for today were – From 04:35hr till 12:30hr and from 17:20hr till 00:35hr (Sun).
