On November 11, NSR attended the Remembrance Day ceremony at the cenotaph in the City of North Vancouver to honour our countries fallen soldiers and our current and past members of the Canadian Armed Forces. Our team leader and other senior members laid a wreath at the cenotaph, while the rest of the crew provided emergency medical care to the attendees. This is a longstanding partnership with BC Ambulance Service paramedics to ensure the ceremony is accessible and safe for all.
NSR provided an emergency doctor, multiple team paramedics, and a number of our SAR techs to provide coverage, pay tribute and remember. In total, NSR treated 7 individuals for minor medical issues, all of whom were subsequently released without need for transport to hospital.
A beautiful day to remember.
