At 6.29pm, Brixham Coastguard tasked inshore lifeboat, George Bearman to help tow a broken down fishing boat drifting in the river Exe, close to the marina.
This latest purchase is part of the Doctor Heli system programme which is intended to provide modern airborne EMS coverage to all prefectures in Japan. The order further expands the presence of EMS-configured GrandNew helicopters in the Japanese market and continues the growing success of the GrandNew and Finmeccanica – AgustaWestland’s other light twin helicopters in Japan for a range of roles including EMS, law enforcement, VIP/corporate transport and electronic newsgathering.

On the evening of 21 May, Exmouth RNLI volunteers hosted 20 Brownies from 1st Woodbury Brownie pack. The girls had raised £294.20 for their local lifeboat station in a very unusual way.
After the Tim Jones Ride for Rescue, MP and staunch NSR supporter, Andrew Saxton presented a framed copy of a letter from Prime Minister Stephen Harper to the Jones family and NSR. This letter offers condolences and recognizes Tim’s contributions to the local community and national SAR. Thank you Andrew.

A new volunteer crew member at Exmouth RNLI lifeboat station has had a vital part of their crew training funded by the Lloyd’s Register Foundation. The course immediately followed an intensive period of Shannon class lifeboat familiarisation at Exmouth.
