Mudeford Servant was launched for service at 8.19 am today following a call for assistance from a man on board a broken down boat. The 4m speedboat was heading out of Mudeford for a day of fishing when it suffered engine trouble. The volunteer crew towed the vessel back to the public slipway at Mudeford to allow the owner to make repairs.
