Join Us At The Zulu 50th Anniversary Premiere
We are very excited to announce that on Tuesday 10th June, the world-famous Odeon Leicester Square will play host to a unique red carpet, star-studded gala screening of the new digitally remastered, wide-screen version of the iconic movie Zulu, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of its release.
The film, which chronicles the events at the Battle of Rorke’s Drift, tells the story of how 11 Victoria Crosses were awarded in a single action.
The evening is raising money for Walking With The Wounded, The David Rattray Memorial Trust, and Sentebale, and it will represent an occasion to celebrate this much-loved film and the work all three charities are doing with our wounded and in Africa.
During the evening guests will be entertained by a military male voice choir (probably singing the classic ‘Men of Harlech’ which featured in the film) and a troupe of Zulu dancers, as well as gaining insight into the making of the film by some of those involved.
Doors will open at 6.00pm, with the screening starting at 7.30pm.
