Due to the importance of the manner in which future HEMS maybe contracted out in Australia, the AHIA has decided to include this notice to all those on our listings. Included are the 2,000 + international readers and most global news and media providers. This is a free service by the AHIA to ensure we support the Australian helicopter industry as per our Charter.
What is happening? Australia’s NSW (State) Government is creating a new Health Retrieval Helicopter Network to deliver high quality clinical care faster and safer than ever before. All current and potential suppliers are invited to tender for the new Helicopter Network.
Areas affected. State of NSW Regions: Far North Coast, Mid North Coast, New England, Central Coast, Hunter, Cumberland/Prospect, Nepean, Northern Sydney, Inner West, South East Sydney, South West Sydney, Central West, Orana/Far West, Riverina/Murray, Illawarra and Southern Highlands.
Sydney Briefing. A special industry briefing will be held Friday 8 November 2013 for any interested parties to discuss the tender process, minimum requirements, and standards. The briefing will also include Q&A sessions and will facilitate opportunities for attendees to network with other parties interested in forming a consortium.
