Great success for Grand Prix

Fears of a damp, dreary EAAA Grand Prix 2013 were allayed as the Norfolk fundraising team and the race teams arrived at Ellough Park Raceway on the morning of Saturday 6 April. Whilst the temperature was cold, the bright blue skies ensured that the on-track action was uninterrupted. Everyone involved with this karting extravaganza was eager to get things underway. Teams came from all over Norfolk and beyond. Some were friends and family members, whilst others represented local businesses that included Saxon Packaging, Midwich, Innershed, Big Sky Additions, M&H Plastics, Easy Rollers, and Makro amongst others.

In preparation for the coming sailing season Sunderland Yacht Club has hosted an RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) lifejacket clinic where members were able to bring along their own lifejackets and learn how carryout simple safety checks.
