Whatever the weather or time of day or night, the RNLI’s 5,000 volunteer lifeboat crew members and shore helpers around the coasts of the UK and Ireland will be on call this Christmas.

A new volunteer crew member at Sunderland RNLI lifeboat station has had a vital part of his crew training funded by The Lloyd’s Register Educational Trust (The LRET).
The latest draw for the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) Lottery has been made and the accumulator prize of £2,500 has been won by Mr A Howes from Norwich in Norfolk and this week’s lucky winner of £1,000 is Mrs R Dobson from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (December 21, 2012) – Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company (NYSE: TXT), announced today an agreement with Air Methods for the supply of 20 Bell 407GX aircraft. Air Methods will dedicate the helicopters to air medical transport for critically ill and injured patients throughout the United States.
