North Vancouver RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating missing international student Jasper Houben. He lives in the 4000 block of Ranger Ave. in North Vancouver and he did not show up for a scheduled shift at work today on West Pender Street in Vancouver.

Mr. Houben is described as a 22-year-old Caucasian male, 5’9″, 160 lbs., with receding light brown hair and thick lens glasses. He is also characterised by a protruding adam’s apple and is expected to be carrying a black back pack.

Mr. Houben’s failure to show up for work today is out of character for him. Friends describe him as punctual and meticulous about meeting his obligations and his absence has them worried.

North Vancouver RCMP have been investigating and have determined that Mr. Houben was last seen by friends on the 23rd, and that his last Facebook activity was on the 22nd.

Investigators are asking anyone who sees Mr. Houben to call 911.
