Stranded yacht requires Mudeford RNLI crew to launch for the second time in two days.


The volunteer crew from Mudeford RNLI were tasked to assist an 18ft yacht which had run aground at low tide on Saturday 21 April.

The three people on board were trying to get their vessel through Christchurch harbour when they became stranded.
Mudeford Servant was launched and on scene within seconds to tow the vessel back to Mudeford quay, where the ‘Fleur De Lys’ and its crew waited for the tide to turn enabling them to finish their journey.
