The inshore RNLI lifeboat from Rhyl was launched at 10:20am this morning (25 October) to rescue a mother and son who had been in the water for approximately 30 minutes. The 2 persons had entered the sea on 2 inflatable rings at Towyn and got into difficulty, with the offshore breeze and ebbing tide.
